The Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends PDF Print E-mail

Land of Lights and Legends    Nov. 16 - Dec. 31, 2010

    Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park

Arkansas’ largest drive-thru of holiday lights, and is now  nationally known. Over a mile of lights, totaling over 150 displays, many of which are animated. We are so fortunate to continue to grow and expand each year when many festivals do not.  We at the Pine Bluff Festival Association attribute this to our fantastic sponsors and the continued huge attendance we have each season. Last year attendance, even with the rainy season exceeded 106,000.  This event brings so many people into our city which helps our local economy.  We are now on several tour bus routes, especially out of the southern states, that schedule their trip to see our lights on their way to Branson.

We do want to thank you the public who have attended our festival for years and help by donating so this festival can continue and grow.  Don't forget that a donation of $10.00 gets you one of our collectible souvenir ornaments whiles supply lasts.

We are open from 6-9 pm nightly. Free admission, donations accepted at the end of drive-thru by community volunteers. We are celebrating our 14th season of making Pine Bluff the brightest spot on the planet during the holiday season.

Christmas for the Birds PDF Print E-mail

Christmas for the Birds      Date & Event Still to be determined for 2010

This year we have continued the combination of the two events, "Christmas for the Birds" and  "Tree Decorating Party for Kids."   Scheduled from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Delta Rivers Nature Center, located in Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park.  Co-sponsored by the Delta Rivers Nature Center and the Pine Bluff Fesitival Association, this event allows participants to make pinecone feeders for feeding our feathered friends during the winter season.  They will also craft ornaments to decorate the trees located inside the Nature Center, which will be visible to all who drive through the "Enchanted Land of Lights & Legends".  Additionally, a wildlife specialist from the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission will present a fascinating birding program.  For more infomation on this event you may call the Nature Center at 870.534.0011.
